What is Foot drop?

Foot drop is the paralysis of the extensors and perenoi muscles. The common causes are:
1. peripheral neuropathy: diabetes, leprosy
2. common peroneal nerve injury: tibial fracture
3. L5 radiculopathy: intervertebral disc prolapse
4. Motor neuron disease
5. chronic lead poisoning
