How to Use Medchrome Answers

Click on any question to show or hide the answer.
  • How do I sign up?
Click "Register" link near the top of the page and verify your email address to create an account OR Click the Facebook "Login" button> to log in using your Facebook account. After registering, you will have access to all the features of the site like answering, voting and commenting on questions. However, questions can be asked anonymously.
  • How do I use the voting features?
As a registered user, you can vote on both questions and answers.
Questions:If you find a relevant question, but it does not have a satisfactory answer, click the up arrow in the blue votes box to vote that question up! The more votes it gets, the more visible it will become to other users, so it will be more likely to get a good answer. If you see any questions that are inappropriate, poorly worded, or don't contain enough detail, you can vote them down to make them less visible.

Answers: If you are reading a question and several answers have been proposed, use votes to help move the best answer to the top of the list! Vote an answer up if you think it answers the question well; vote it down if you think it is a poor answer. If you are the author of a question (or if you have earned enough points), you can also click the "tick mark" button to indicate the best answer to the question. The "best answer" will be shown directly underneath the question, followed by answers ranked according to their number of votes.
Voting helps other users to earn points, so remember to vote often.
  • What kinds of questions can I ask?
Questions should be relevant to the categories we have: medical academics questions, medical cases, health queries. As you type the question, similar questions will be displayed automatically. If someone has already asked your question, you can answer or comment on the question instead of asking it again.
  • How do I use tags?
When asking a question, type or choose keywords relevant to your question inside the box marked "Tags" at the bottom of the question form to index question by tags.
  • What should I avoid in my answers?
Everyone is free to put their opinions but avoid holding bad debates in your answers. For brief discussion, or to thank someone for their answer, please post comments, not answers.

Hateful or slanderous language is not permitted and will be removed by the site moderators - please use the "Flag" button to bring inappropriate posts to our attention. Spam and other forms of commercial advertising are also prohibited.
